Mod Fashion: The mod subculture emerged in London during the early 1960s and had a significant impact on fashion. Mod fashion was characterized by bold, geometric patterns, clean lines, and a minimalist aesthetic. Shift dresses, mini-skirts, and slim-cut suits were popular choices for both men and women. Bright colors such as yellow, green, and pink were prevalent, and PVC and vinyl materials were embraced.  Mr. Palomar; Italo Calvino
Mod Accessories: Accessories played a crucial role in defining the 1960s fashion trends. Go-go boots, with their mid-calf or knee-high length, were a staple of mod fashion. Bold, oversized sunglasses, often with colorful frames, were popular for both men and women. Other accessories included wide belts, statement jewelry, and small, structured handbags.

Space Age Fashion: With the excitement surrounding space exploration, fashion took a futuristic turn in the 1960s. Designers like Pierre Cardin and Paco Rabanne introduced space-age-inspired clothing, featuring metallic fabrics, sleek lines, and geometric shapes. Dresses and suits with cutouts, plastic details, and futuristic accessories like helmets and visors were prominent.
